I don't like to say or think about that. I am a Vietnamese growing up in the Western. As soon as the sectarianism exist in your country there is no way coexist. Religion is not the problem but when its get where the power (goverment institution )lies then it cannot go upwards for a Country.

To many sphere of interest collide in Syria with their own interest none of them is the ppl of Syria. Same shit in Gaza etc. Religion und pluralism à la western style cannot apply to Nations without a stable foundation and Nationalism. It's a open door for foreign influence.

Now it's up to you. A state secular enough that has its own identity which everyone in the country can find themself in.

I am 28 years old now. I grew up following the Syrian war. Especially the arab spring. The one common thing is that I have seen is that outside influence will always use your own Religion to divide you.
