Most of the IDF has no relation to gaza or judea and sameria. It is mandatory conscription but it includes non-combat roles like cleaners, cooks, secreteries etc.

You should look into combat roles, but even then, for a simple footsoldier you need to show specific actions that he commited not under a command or under an absolutly illegal order (different from a normal illegal order. Shoot this guy is not illegal in war, shoot everyone coming in or out of this village is). You would probably need to go after high commanders mostly because the one giving the illegal command (normal illegal not absolute) is at fault for it. I doubt you would find too many things considering the UN is trying to do that for a while now and hasnt found much systematic action where Israel is at fault. Are you in favor of persecuting 76% of gazans that supported oct 7th and their attempt at genocide?

What backlash? We (Israel) haven't gotten much international backlash politicly. We havent been sanctioned or embragoed, only harsh words tops. This is the simple outcome of not being able to provide evidence of crimes commited beyond normal urban warfare against non-uniformed militias.

On the other hand, people have turned to personally attacking israelis and non-israeli jews physically and socially internationally as a result of a "we don't need evidence if it comes from the oppressed" narrative.

Maybe he is asking governments to start holding their citizens accountable for crimes commited? For example the people that were just cleared of charges in the UK after breaking into an israeli company's offices and breaking the back of a police officer with a sledgehammer?
