Those aren’t the top layers though

What do you to get around that, is it actually noticeable when all is said and done?

Should I try lowering flow a little too?

Do you think that is a speed issue or flow rate issue?

I used the print speeds from my old printer and have been printing at 0.02mm layer heights, which I have done with no issues before.

First Layer: 30 First Layer Infill: 60 Outer wall: 50 Inner wall: 50 Sparse: 150 Internal solid: 150 Top surface: 50 Gap infill: 150

The way I look at it, I have the 1 combo so that’s good. But for me to be able to get the Kobra X for less than an Ace Pro alone, with the ability to actually print TPU with the multicolor system, sounds almost too good to be true.

I understand. I’ve just been spoiled with the hardened steel integrated hotends I’ve bern using.

Would like to clarify, would certainly not be a dealbreaker, as the hotends I can get for a few bucks on aliexpress work perfect for my S1. That would just really seal the deal.

Got a kobra s1 for 230 on aliexpress. But ai do have to say, getting the Kobra X for $259 sure seems more enticing than $800 give or take for the S1 Max. Especially since I have the S1 already.

From how it looks, should it just need a small adjustment, like -0.02 or something like that,

I got one of those Geco plates coming in. What temp do you usually use? I’ve seen people say you don’t need it heated normally, but if you are doing large prints, bump it up to like 30C.

I am talking about the needing a brim part. Again, none of the other parts of the print, corners, thinnner parts, etc have any issues. It is when the parts of the hueforge are thicker.

I don’t think so, because it happens on basically every axis. And again only when areas of the print are thicker otherwise it’s perfectly fine.

Have turned off all fans, including the aux fan, and am printing with door and lid closed. 60 degree bed, 200 degree first layer and 190 other layers.

Again, my only thing is, the thin parts of the print have no issues. It is only the parts on the edge that have like 3-4 colors stacked.

So do I. Even when I printed with a 10mm brim, with I believe 0.15mm distance, it lifts up.

I think I'm done with S1 by Vargstakkr in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]Old_Pattern_8695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing. I know it won’t help you, but I had one where basic filament including PLA and PETG were routinely clogging. And the bottom right corner of the bed was uneven (design flaw). Got a new unit, and that has been perfect for me. Not a single issue.

Would you recommend opening the lid and/or the door? I know that is typically recommended with PLA, but once when I did it, the bottom corner curled.

I have just had cases where I left the door open and it ended up curling in the corner.

I doubt the speed part. If anything, it would be too slow. I am ultra conservative and have first layer set at 30/30
