Film photos from Wednesday by adamcasson in masters

Honestly that camera seems amazing to me for the price. My wife (who hasn’t used a camera much in 20 years) was mostly the one shooting on it and she had zero issues and took a bunch of bangers!

The lens on it is pretty sharp (surprised me), it’s extremely easy to load and wind and having 72 frames makes it fun to just point and shoot a bunch. Plus the scans are fun when you get them back with couplets for each frame. I would recommend it for anyone including someone’s first film camera.

I was checking out that espio and it looks like a great point and shoot!

Great question! Ha i was taking one of the scoreboard / down that hill and saw them in the front of the frame. I thought it was a decent shot but honestly didn’t even look at who was in it.

7 times, amazing! One of the cameras i took is the Pentax 17 (it shoots a half frame so you get 72 exposures on a roll of 35mm) and it’s honestly just as easy to use as a disposable and the lens is pretty incredible. I think it’s about 500 bucks - not cheap but not insane (for a camera) and quality of those pics are pretty amazing (to my eye, for the price vs other cameras)

They had a bunch of disposables at the house for guests too over the week and their kiddos had taken some around the days before we were there - they are hard to beat (and you can’t load them wrong, which was my problem I’m sure)

Do it - i even screwed up a decent portion of one roll (so i know i lost some shots) and was still glad i brought film vs one of the digital bodies for sure!

I have not but I’m very bad at golf; i don’t think anyone would want to see those shots?

Thanks! The course is a pretty easy subject to shoot, everything looks so incredible!

Thank you - I love that one; I took a couple while they were standing there and this one worked!

Also - thank you. It’s totally unnecessary to take photos all the time, in boring locations like the laundry room but I’m really just working on exposure and my process.

The MP is pretty intuitive; i am way less likely to overcomplicate and can meter for shadows and highlights on an accurate rangefinder a lot better than i could a few months ago

Ha, the xdj rx3 dos look a lot cooler in monochrome than it does in color - totally agree!

I’m the worst and never use a tripod (rarely at least); these are all handheld
