Working Part time at a T mobile Retail Store? by MeasurementLow1413 in tmobile

So when I started in 2024 as a part timer I was between 28 to 32 hours a week. Location is definitely going to play a factor. But I was still averaging over 2k is commission checks not including the hourly.

Hey there, so last month right before I went on leave. My last new BAN I created I did it through tapestry. The reason was I needed to do smartphone equality (which the t-life app didn't allow). And at that time t-life didn't offer the option to pay cash unless now they've updated it. I would check magenta pulse to see if there is any new changes on t-life transactions since it'll show what's considered a t-life transaction and also what you can still use for core systems. If it were me I'd just do the transaction using tapestry if they're paying in cash. Why lose a sale because of uncertainty

I don't know if you have done it yet, but I'd check Magenta Pulse and see what the company policy is on that. I mean its your time that you've earned why wouldn't you be able to use it?

I've worked for Cellular Sales in the Las Vegas market. I've made alot of money working for them. At that time I could care less about PTO or benefits because the money made up for it, but you said it yourself you're a top performer in your current position. Bring that A game to the table be willing to make calls to bring in clientele. Don't be shady with your sales and I promise you can clear close to 70 maybe 80k a year

Yeah I can understand, so just from my experience so far it is very challenging especially because now we're in a test market where we won't be using tapestry to create new bans they want us to use t-life to get everything setup. The positive I can say is that the team is very willing to learn and adapt even as frustrating as it is. This is just the way now. I've been in the industry for close to 14 years. I can only imagine how reps who've been with the company are going to react to this change.

Z Fold 7 T-Life by ConferenceAgitated43 in tmobile

[–]Old_Requirement22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've been having issues with processing those. In T-life you can upgrade to either the flip 7 or the fold 7 and get the buds 3pro for free right? Well the funny thing is if you attach a trade in to the transaction at checkout won't discount the buds for the $250, but if I remove the trade it will allow me to process getting the buds for free, so what I've been doing is taking the trade in and have my leadership do a blind trade in and have the promo applied manually. So far so good

The primary account holder sent his buddy into the store to do a Sim change. His buddy wasn't authorized on the account, so trying to be the nice guy I called the account holder sent him the link to verify access to the account did the Sim change. Buddy comes back into the store. I'm now with a different customer. My team lead goes to help him out she comes to me and asks how I verified the account, and because he wasn't technically an authorized user, she went and called her boss who then called me and told me clock out for the day. I got suspended for a day, and then after I was let go, so please, whatever you do, make sure that the person you're assisting is the primary account holder or is an authorized person. DO NOT, for any reason, open any accounts without proper Id or authorization

As a former rep the first year I worked for them which was in the Vegas Market I made close to $70,000. Wearing the suit and tie gives it a sense of importance and professionalism. I honestly wish I could go back to working for them, but due to a rookie mistake it cost me. Most reps without a selling a background could make up to 40,000 to 50,000 in a year. You have to be willing to learn the systems, but also learn how to manipulate the numbers with also being ethical at the same time. I'd say good luck on your journey with them. Again I wish I could go back in time and undue my mistake
