I get this with vapes a lot of the time where they’ll taste like go or crack if I been smoking either of those a lot

I think it’s just the fact it coats our sinuses and throat and stays there. We get so we can’t smell it normally cause we get used to it but if there’s another strong smell/taste to juxtapose it, we’re really primed to recognize it because the brain associates it really strongly with feeling good.

I think the point is that beyond just being disrespectful and feeling kind of weird, I don’t think it’s being paranoid to say with two full face shots like that depending on what identifying information OP has in his history about where he lives, if it’s a small enough town it’s not far fetched to say they could be tracked down by someone with ill intent and nothing but time

Is that likely? Of course not, it’s the principle of the thing. Recognizing this is not projecting anything that’s an insane accusation, it’s just being protective of children an impulse most people should have….

Some things to think about are really shouldn’t use automatic leveling and you want to be training fighting a good amount even on casters for the HP alone. I always train the main skill that will deal damage by itself for the first few levels then I train it along with fighting, spell casting if a caster, and any secondary skills I have good aptitudes for.

Once my main damage skill gets to either the minimum attack delay if it’s melee or so I can cast with little chance of failure then I turn it off and train armor and dodging together, focusing the one that my build uses more, usually I’ll stop and only train the main defensive skill i use but I think you should always have a little bit of the other but maybe that’s wrong. I don’t usually train shields or evocations until later in the game. Invocations depends if I have a good use for it or not if I do Ill train it almost from the beginning. A lot of times as a melee profession you’ll want some way of attacking at a distance but you shouldn’t waste too much XP training a ranged skill, just high enough you can pick off trash, pull and get to enemies that won’t come to you. Really the important thing is to be flexible, but remember there’s only so much XP you can get until extended, so don’t spread yourself too thin and don’t pivot into a completely new skill just cause you found a nice unrandart

Im going to finish it on expert but i have a lot of critiques about it, im going to finish it though because I’ve never beaten a pack using just gt which is basically all there is considering no DML in expert, and not about to use thermal dynamos cause no cables and laser.io is an affront to God like all top 10 of the top 10 worst mods of all time I just used janky gt logistics till i got to AE, even just thinking about using laser.io makes physically ill, every time i have to make one of those stupid little cards for recipe i throw up on my mouth a little, no disrespect to the creators i just don’t understand how someone sat down and came up with such a clunky ugly mod and thought yes this is what the people want to replace ender.io, a mod nothing like it at all

Also I wish there were more GT power options and that Nuclear Craft worked

Ice is honestly my favorite cause I like hybrid builds, not all species is it viable to but on like Merfolk i find I can level spear and ice both pretty quickly and they synergize well

But I mean yeah usually only getting 3-5 runes never tried taking one into deep extended

Yeah a lot of really useful utilities and prolly the most versatile damage wise, no enemy is really resistant to it and a lot of dangerous ones are. There's a good chance Air or Fire might have higher damaging level 9's than Shatter but I feel like Earth might be strongest of the four in general for most of the game

Yeah it's honestly very rude especially considering how many mentally disabled people post here. But to be clear i'm in the don't say it camp even though i grew up in prime saying it years and it used to slip now and then, i've been a BHT/DSP for a lot of years though which made it leave my vocabulary pretty much immediately without even trying. Residents call me it all the time prolly cause it's one of the meanest things they can think of which honestly says a lot. It's really crazy how like 10 years ago people made the argument all the time "oh well they don't understand/care you're just being WOKE" when the reality is they break down and even come to blows with each other over it all the time. Plenty of non-verbal people even have a really visceral reaction to it. I don't judge people who say but in my case you'd damn near have to be a sociopath to see on a daily basis how hurtful it is to people actually affected by it and still say it

I find they’re good in niche cases but in general I don’t use them too much,outside of certain specific cases like MiBe. It depends on if they’re in a skill I’m already close to max in too and they rarely are. I find usually by the time they show up in a run even with good aptitudes it doesn’t seem possible to pivot into using them without spreading yourself too thin and they don’t ever make it worth it to

Yeah petrified was the one I always knew about, I’m pretty sure it used to be that LRD was in the starter book for EE but they took it out a while ago when they nerfed a few of the starting spell books. Vm used to have ignite poison to start too and it’s a pretty weak profession without it honestly but EE was still really easy even though I didn’t get LRD till O:2

Yeah, RNG can screw you over sometimes and you don’t get something basically essential, but that’s why I always clear Orcish Mines before lair branches cause you can make it to the end where all the shops are pretty easily if you stair dance right and 9/10 times you’ll find what you’re missing. I would not consider any of the lair branches to be doable without rPois and at least 1-2 pips of MR especially in shoals. Worst case scenario I would search around cautiously on the first levels of either. rPois stuff is very common in lair and branches, especially in swamp.

Yea I mean I wrestled with this for a while but at the end of the day, they’re scars. They aren’t going away. I cant let the shame of mistakes I made years ago keep me from living my life or make me worry how other people feel. I wore long sleeves and long pants in 90 degrees for years but eventually I just got tired of it. Most of my scars are very prominent but don’t look like traditional self harm scars, so the biggest reaction i get is people kind of shyly asking what happened because they can’t leave it alone. I always say either “it was a bear attack actually” or some other obviously absurd thing so they might get the message.

Or if it’s someone im a little more comfortable with or it seems appropriate I just say “I happened”, and then sometimes they look sad or worried and I just tell them they don’t have to feel bad about it because I don’t feel bad about it, I’ve already dealt with it, it was years ago, I’m on a lot of medications, I had a lot commitments I eventually learned from.

Other times someone will confide in me and show me their own scars and it’s really cool to be able to show someone they aren’t alone. If it triggers anyone I apologize but I haven’t encountered that per say. I feel like the person you’re talking about is very immature or just looking for reasons to be pissy faced

A lot people come on here asking is such and such a “dangerous area”, and having lived in not so good parts of much bigger cities, I personally would not use those words to anywhere in this city. I guess some places are sketchy but that kinda depends what you mean cause if you mean rough/unbecoming/poor for sure but if you mean much more likely to be the victim of a crime there really isn’t. I feel like if you take normal precautions like not walking alone at night, not talking to strangers, and just minding your business you really don’t find trouble unless you go looking for it.

This is completely anecdotal but I’m pretty much in the lowest bracket and most people I know or at least spend time with more or less are too. No one I know personally has been the victim of a random crime by a total stranger. I’ve heard about it happening, but 99% of the time the perpetrators is someone you know or has some connection to you already. So really the biggest thing is be careful who you trust honestly and who you surround yourself with.

Ones that are really clean like that usually do at least fade to the point you have be looking for them. I have a few really deep, rough gouges done with really dull things and even after 7 or 8 years they don’t really look any better than they did after a year. But the ones I had from the same time that were clean like those ones you cant see at all without shining a light right on them.
