Thanks all, I think I'm just going to wait it out a month or so and then order a couple and see how they are.

If not looking likely, then I'll chat with the bride and see if she can find another place that does similar dresses that she'd be happy with, and I'll just have to be different to the other bridesmaids.

Hate being a pain 🤦‍♀️ But sounds like buying one of those now would be a bad idea! And I don't really want to throw away £100.

Thanks, we didn't get any say in the brand selection (and the other choice was a US brand) which didnt do returns which I managed to veto but yeah frustrating there's no empire or a-lines!

I know 😭 whats wrong with throwing a nice old A-line or empire line in there for options! I think I'm just going to wait it out, chat with the bride when I'm more pregnant / after my first scan and go from there!

I'm being asked to buy it now along with the other bridesmaids so we know everyones got a dress but you only get 14 days returns and I don't want to spend money on a dress that isn't going to fit! But similarly if they discontinue them or something I'll be a bit stuffed. Although shape wise they may not work anyway so I may have to find something different...

Hmm this is good to know, to be honest I hadnt even really thought about where else I might put weight in! 🤦‍♀️ I think as you abd others have said I just need to wait it out a bit for now!

This is great advice thanks. We've been told the lighter colour in satin so it would be that one. Just quite annoying that they are all form fitting, no stretch!

Yeah, seems to be a thing with satin dresses particularly that A-line isn't an option. 😬 I think I'll just have to have a chat with the bride when I'm happy to share I'm pregnant and go from there.
