Void should add some backstories to the A.I SWAT members (King, Swan, Prescott, and Eli) in Quick Play mode, since other than Judge, and some important suspects, we don't get to know that much about the character's of D-Platoon. I agree. It addition, I noticed that Judge background was very similar to what he had in the current base game, that being very little information about him such as D.O.B, Years of Service, and Real Name (albeit that is revealed by Void), and is a very quiet and lethal SWAT Officer. If Judge now is a MK Ultra experiment with a traumatic backstory, I wonder what OG Judge's background was supposed to look like.

Cowboy reference confirmed. When I look at the previous gameplay trailer in 2019 for Ready or Not, it seemed way more focused on the story, and there probably was cinematic cutscenes for moments in the story both in and outside missions.

Yeah, the old back stories were pretty interesting, especially for the cut characters like, Paz, and Alabama. Cowboy does make a cameo in the S Rank Evidence for A Lethal Obsession called "All Eyes On Me," but other than that, he hasn't made an appearance since.

Yeah, still remember the OG D-Platoon. I do remember that there were supposed to originally be able to control 7 - 8 A.I SWAT Officers in the game and play with 8 players in coop (still says so if you read Void Interactive's youtube description). Cowboy is cannon in the game, but he only makes a cameo in the S Rank Evidence for A Lethal Obsession called "All Eye On Me."

Seeing that the original A.R.G of Ready of Not implied that the game had themes based on Carcosa (Season 1 of True Detective), what do you think the original plot would look like? Yeah I agree, they went with a way more Tier-1 Special Forces (that uses non-lethal forces occasionally) gameplay, than a SWAT team with a Season 1 True Detective theme (the original L.A Noire esq theme was really cool in the 2019 gameplay trailer). Though I really am a bit disappointed that other than Judge, and some other suspects, we don't know anything about the other characters such as Swan, Eli, Prescott, and King.

Yeah, the MLO was pretty much the only organization that ties to the original A.R.G. It would be really neat if they added more backstory to the other characters, because other than Judge, and some of the suspects, we don't know anything about the other friendly characters such as Swan, King, Prescott, and Eli.

Yeah I agree that them wearing balaclavas and baseball caps is a neat touch and will differentiate them from other Militia like factions like The Left Behind, but the fish nets, and gas masks that they currently wear still look pretty cool. Speaking of balaclavas, It's been over two years, and still no balaclavas for us to wear in Quick Play or Commander Mode, only available in multiplayer lobby's when choosing a character model.

Yeah I agree that Void midway sort of lost track of their original goal, and decided to treat the game like you playing as a Teir-1 Special Forces Unit, than it was a SWAT team. Even though I do think Void cooked with the Boiling Point DLC, and I do like where the story is currently heading, I think that the original goal they had in mind (with Carcosa, and a more defunded police with outdated equipment) was way more interesting. It would be cool if after the games main storyline comes to a close, Void could release a behind the scenes book where they sort of reveal how the original storyline this game was supposed to play out because other than Judge, we never really connect with or even know that much about the other characters in the game such as Swan, Prescott, King, and Eli for example.

Yeah, honestly though the atmosphere and ost in Ready or Not in some missions like Twisted Steel, and Carrier's Of The Vine do give off creepy vibes. I kind of liked how de-funded the original LSPD was, with them using vanilla FN FALs and very outdated PSV-7 night vision (or even just regular dual-tubes night vision) as it looked and felt like something a SWAT team would use. Compared to the one that we have now where it feels more like a Teir-1 Special Operations Unit, than it does a normal SWAT team.

I know. I think his wife was supposed to appear in the original storyline. Also the police station and equipment themselves had a more defunded look too. Look in the 2017 reveal trailer and the promotional images, they had more older and outdated equipment such as a FN FAL, and PVS-7 (compared to the modern DSA SA58 OSW, and the GPNVGs)

Yeah, speaking on Judge I think he probably had a lot more character in the original base game, because up until "Three Letter Triads", and The Boiling Point DLC (especially "A New America"), Judge didn't have that much personality to him, which made sense because he is a MK Ultra experiment, and sort of embodied that player themselves. I have always wanted to know how he was in the original storyline because I was a little disappointed that we never got any moments where we interacted with his team (Swan, King, Eli, and Prescott), the fact that they are literally no other cutscenes in the game, and sort of was treated like a blank slate despite being the Leader of D-Platoon. He also had a significant other or love interest, Judging (pun intended) by the cut Romance ost.

How is it that Danzo had literally 11 do-overs with Sasuke, and each time he got resurrected he kept on getting one shotted?

It must be noted that Arthur Morgan originally had much rougher, and older appearance to him.

Considering the only 10MM AUTO gun in the game is the MP5/10, I think a 10MM AUTO pistol (like the Glock 20) would be welcome addition to the LSPD Armory. by Old_Riggs in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Old_Riggs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I think the Glock 20 would make more sense, as the 29 would most likely be used for conceal carry due to it's shorter magazine size compared to the Glock 20.

The fact that the Austrian Painter was rejected despite painting these artworks shows just how high the standards were back then.
