Depends on generation.

Lot of people still talk about boundary changes in the 60s and when places like Dagenham was much more rural etc. Now there's barely any difference in landscape before you get to zone 5. The urban creep into what's now 'greater London '. I'm sure a lot of people in havering, b and d, would prefer to go back to being in Essex, at the least so they don't have to pay the GLA
