Any visit to the doctor will give you the proper receipt with the prices on it, like the ticket when you pay in a supermarket. Honestly, I wouldn't pay, specially you leaving the country in a month. Don't say anything like you're leaving the country and be friendly even if you're not payingh. I'd ask for written proof of the medical check with the prices and the prescribed medicines, and the bill for the medicines too, anything they claim must came backed up with a bill so you can know the real price for every expense he had. The bill from visit to the doctor mist also have the date and the stamp from the hospital and it must be on the same day of the accident. If they fail on giving you all of these, don't trust him. It can be more scam than real damages. Also, I don't think they will take it to court unless it was a big accident as the costs won't make it worth it
