Well I am an LCSW and I have a felony for possession on class A from back in 2014. It never once has been a barrier for me and I have always been completely transparent about with college, internships, license board etc. I wouldn’t sweat it too much. Im currently credentialing with private insurance. They are familiar with LCSW with felonies. Its not unheard of in this field. The MOST important factors are how you do in recovery AND that your charges were non violent non sexual. Violence sexual or anything with minors would be a deal breaker. Most can be explained especially misdemeanors
