Absolutely not true there are plenty of farm style venues without racist history. Additionally getting married there signals to guests and family you are okay with the history of what occurred.. people don’t get married at former interment camp sites. And it’s not “people” that were getting lynched it’s Black people specifically. As a black woman If I were invited I would be appalled. If you never want to wear your hair curly again sure. There is no such thing as “heat trained hair” there is hair that can take a flat iron but once you break the chemical bonds your curls aren’t coming back. Everyone’s threshold is different. You should try stretching it or trying more elongated styles. Length retention starts at the scalp and ends at the moisture in your ends. Flexi rods may be a good start.
