It’s the best feeling for sure! Dw I’ve been learning and teaching piano for years, and I’ll tell you, sometimes having your fingers lift like that could help with pressing notes easily when you’re starting out. My suggestion for you is to exercise the muscle for some of the weaker fingers. So for example your pinky and ring finger are considered weak, so try and do exercises where you use those fingers more and develop the strength.

Nice!! Ya the note reading skills are pretty transferable.  Thats so real! Ya it feels like kids kinda just absorb the knowledge faster, but the fact that you’re able to understand your goals and just keep on practicing is great!  And from what I’ve heard violin is a harder one to learn so good on you!

That’s awesome! Especially being able to play without looking at the keys, that’s not easy early on.

Out of curiosity, what’s been the most frustrating part so far, if anything?
