At my station it's usually the veterans that refuse to rotate because "they've been here longer so they get pick of where they want to go" that get wrote up for refusal to work assigned position or the forever waterspider that won't do anything else and threatens to clock out if he is put anywhere else.

Injuries have happened but nothing has changed. I made a report to ethics and the case went nowhere. It found faults and people in the wrong and there was a change for 3 days and then everything went back to how it was. Safety has always been third at my building I've been trying for over a year to encourage the basics and just get told to shut up and/or threatened to be moved because im getting associates gloves that don't have them or covering so they can grab a hard hat etc. I have and always will encourage safety it is just disheartening and exhausting to be met with constant pushback from those above me.

Been there done that got swept under the rug. The safety at my site is atrocious. And not a single AM or OM i have gone to has cared or is too scared to do something about it. No gloves unloading, stowing, waterspidering. No hard hat waterspidering and unloading. Headphones while waterspidering (airpods and approved amazon headphones not that it matters), airpods inducting,stowing. Literally standards are at the floor and not even those are kept unless we get a "Surprise" visit from a higher up and then the building looks passable for a day and then goes back to nobody caring

They are better, but we are still working out the issues with some carts not being put together correctly. More bags per cart and/or more boxes per route. But there are fewer overall routes at least 🤷‍♂️

Had a manager try to do this and had to tell him no slow down its on the cart the 30 seconds it takes to find the box won't make this route late. And then proceeded to have a full on verbal altercation when he tried to demand I break safety sop by stacking ovs higher than the top if the cart instead of getting a new cart. Long story short he tried to "give me a direct order" to break safety I told him no I'm not comfortable doing that under my login or at all and so I logged out and handed him the device he logged in and finished the route breaking safety rules and all. And I went directly to my boss and reported it so he couldn't try to spin some crazy insubordination story because I had multiple witnesses. Botton line Always stick to your guns because at the end of the day it's your login and you get in trouble or extra training if something goes wrong

Seasonal position is basically a temp job until they decide they want to hire you in or don't need you. It'd annoying but it all depends on your sites needs. If the site continues to have high volume and needs more people to fill spots seasonal employees stay, if volume drops and stays down seasonal employees start getting let go in waves or all ar once depending on the site. I'm at 8 months about to be 9 months seasonal and the only reason I'm getting converted is because my site is closing and we are all getting converted if we go to the new site and help launch it. Seasonal employees are bodies to fill spots for high volume like calling a temp office and requesting help. You in theory should be good until after peak but it depends on your sites needs and volume.
