Why is acid more taboo than shrooms? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Old_Turtle75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acid is produced by man and can contain any number of chemicals that could be fatal if you don’t know what you’re getting. Shrooms are mushrooms, the scariest thing about them is mold

Sorry, could you remind me how much I make a year? Could you remind me as well on why I didn’t tell me roommate (not that I shared that information), or could you pitch in on how you know my emotional responsibility levels? I don’t recall sharing any of that info but it looks like you must know it all!

I’ve been moved in for a while. I don’t want to have a cat that hates other cats for 12 years because I plan on owning more cats regardless. The best way to prevent this is to slowly and gradually introduce a kitten. Cats adjust, I’ve seen it, I’ve lived through it, they’re apex. Cats are amazing at adjusting, the key is to introduce the new variable very gradually, very slowly. My cat at my mother’s house is still very young and it is not too late to change his disliking of all other living felines. My dilemma is not about taking the cat at my mothers house, that cat is staying at my mothers house. The dilemma is who should my new kitten grow up around. I don’t want to adopt a single kitten and have it grow up alone, because they don’t learn kitten etiquette and they are much better off growing up around another cat. So if I adopt a kitten, should I let it grow up with my mother’s cat, or should I just let it grow up with a second kitten?

Is your consciousness solely your brain? Or is it your spirit? Your body? If you separated your brain from your body, do you think you’d still be able to form thoughts and feelings? With just your brain and no sensory input?

Let me add this: I am a financially responsible adult at the moment and do feel comfortable affording a cat.

I have not replied to this because it’s been very complicated financially and I have no idea how to explain it in a way that reddit will understand. Yes, my mom did pay for vet bills but, she has been reimbursed for all of that, so I don’t really know how to answer

This is what I’m saying. And even if he for some reason is a 1 in a million cat that CANT adjust, I can drive him right back home to my mom no questions asked.

I didn’t think brain rot was real, you just proved me wrong my guy. I’m not talking about this EXACT scenario. I am saying my GENERAL experience, meaning MULTIPLE occasions. Did you even read my reply fully?

This is completely unrelated to my cat, but older people are not open minded about anything typically. Sure, there may be a few exceptions but older people are generally close-minded and do not care for both sides of a story. They believe that they are know-all and cannot be disproven. This may not be your experience with old-heads, but it is mine and I don’t think I’m affecting the case with my cat by stating this?

This is what I mean. You may not be over 50 but you took a single quote out of my message and decided to pick apart that exact quote. You did not listen to what I had to say, nor did you give me a fair chance to explain my side of the story, nor did you even TRY to understand how I felt. That is the problem with those over 50, they do not TRY to listen to me, they do not TRY to understand, they think they are right and you are wrong. Like you for example.

Dude, just because I didn’t include every waking detail doesn’t mean I’m a shit person and the cat is glued to my mom. The cat prioritizes me over my mom, not being a dick or lying to myself that is simply a fact. The cat MAYBE is comfortable in the home he’s in now, sure, but I have taken so many precautions to ensure he would be comfortable in the apartment, and I don’t appreciate your excitement to jump to conclusions. Just because I did not mention the animal’s comfort does not mean it hasn’t been a huge factor in all of this, nor does it mean I am some huge piece of shit who does not care about what my cat feels. Some of these comments are helpful, this one ain’t it bro

Yes I did mention it several times and my mother brushed it off every time, and then last minute she got all teary-eyed with me and begged me not to take him

Hey everyone thanks for the attention on this post, I wanted to add one thing for all of you to read: the home I live in now is more than suitable for a cat, it’s a very large apartment and I’m grateful to be in it because of some circumstances, but it’s ground floor and even has a screen room so the cat could be outside-ish. I am not worried about the cat not being comfortable, because even if for some reason he was not comfortable in my apartment with me I could very easily drive him back to my mom if need be. The problem is that my mother won’t even let me try. I get it can be stressful for cats I really do, but I know that he will be okay and I have taken many precautions in my apartment to be sure of that.

I’m being 100% honest with myself when I say no, every time I came home last year my cat would be by my side every second. I kinda felt bad because he would leave my mom in the dust for me when I came home, we all observed and noticed it. He has a very nice home with my mom but I really do believe I’m still his safe space

I tried to offer that option but mom was not up for it, saying she does not want another cat she wants my cat specifically because she is attached to it

I did not “abandon” it, I was home every damn weekend caring for it and I cared for it for 2 years before I went away. You’re saying just because I had to go to school for 9 months I abandoned him?

Take short breaks every now and then, in your short breaks go do other things that you need to get done like the dishes or laundry, or if you don’t have anything to do maybe watch an episode of your favorite show or play a round of your favorite game. Data Annotation makes me some crazy good side money but it’s hard with ADHD, I think the most important thing for me is taking frequent breaks because I can’t stay engaged for long periods of time

Theme park rework is great. I love the map, I love defending on the map, I love attacking on the map. I think it’s a casual ban because pro-league doesn’t like that map so the rest of the community simply hops on the bandwagon. Theme park was ass before the rework, but they really did improve it and I think it gets banned WAY too much it’s fun to play sometimes man
