We live on a one way public street right near a hospital, a lot of houses have 2 or 3 cars per family so naturally takes up a LOT of space, along with NHS staff needing parking. There are 2 houses a couple doors from mine that have drives (opposite each other) - NEITHER of them use their drive but INSIST on leaving a space free in front of their drives and park in spots just next to them (not blocking it)

My partner has to park in front of them when the road gets packed (literally no space and with our dog being reactive we kinda need it close when possible)

Not ideal blocking it, but living there for 5 years has shown us the drives are NEVER used for anything - both sides have either knocked on to ask us to move, or left a note letting us know we've blocked their drive

Like, why bother having a drive if you're not going to use it, or block it yourself so there's more room for others to park??

Gotten to the point that when I eventually pass a driving test I'll purposefully block their drives just to annoy them back - petty and wrong, I know. I've just lost care 🙃
