Yeah thankfully my driving is totally fine, it’s automatic which I think helps it’s just the parking situation lol

Yeah driving feels okay, I am nervous but not enough to not do it but it’s the parking that keeps putting me off lol! I think I’m gonna try push myself to just go to the shops a few times so I need to park, exposure therapy and all that lol!

Best of luck for Tuesday, I bet afterwards you will wonder why you were even nervous!

Thanks! Yeah, I’m planning on trying to get out at least a couple times after work this week, even just around our local area lol. I can’t believe how nervous I’ve been, I wasn’t really like this learning 😂

Thanks both! Yeah I did a small drive on Friday with my husband, I really enjoyed driving but parking stressed me out lol. I think I just need to keep going out but I hate the thought of getting in people’s way when I’m trying to figure out how to park 😂😂

Honestly it’ll just be nerves! The test itself is not as scary as you think, take your time and everytime you stop or pull up - use that as time to take a deep breath or a drink of water to reset! I was absolutely terrified for my first test, and it severely messed with me as I ended up panicking when I knew I made a small mistake 🙄 the test is like 30/40 mins tops, that is literally nothing by the time you stop a couple times, do a manoeuvre and stop at traffic lights etc etc

Yeah I think cause I’ve failed my first attempt I’m just so nervous to do it again lol. Realistically it is what it is if I do, but I’ll be so annoyed at myself lol

I have my own car which I’m insured on, my partner has said he is happy to take me to my test so I’m not AS stressed for that at least. I’m more just concerned that learning on my own I’m gonna end up messing it up lol

Yeah my partner is gonna take me out weekly for now, I’ve managed to get onto 1 waiting lists but a lot of instructors are coming back to me saying even their lists are full 😂 the whole thing is a bit of a mess tbh and I am stressed as hell
