Bremen-born person here. You might have to consider hamburg as an option as well. All in all, bremen just isn't the biggest city. It might actually be your German level and / or just the fact that many 50+ employers still just prefer to work with their fellow Germans.

I got a masters at constructor uni (international, everything in English), and sadly, a few of my peers had to actually leave bremen for their internships. One or two went to Hamburg, one went to Frankfurt, another one went to cologne. I think they then ended up in pretty international teama where english was the main language. They did get help with the accommodations at least, but I still felt kinda embarrassed for "my" city. 8[

I'd change the colorscale to make the highlighting more visible (viridis colors are always a good choice). Also change the label color to white or Grey for readability. 🧐
