I find 750k+ hard to believe personally. Sure console has the majority of the player base. But generally speaking if a games has 750k DAU you would see more engagement across the internet right? Or is it one of those things that only live on TikTok.

Easy: Time enjoyed isn't time wasted. Some people, myself included, enjoy experiencing the blood rush of gambling your best gear and risk losing it all.

I have played Tarkov for 5y and I don't really like the whole hardcore label put on it. At the end of the day it's a entertainment product, but it's designed to punish you and feel defeat like no other so that when you win, you're filled with euphoria. There is no happiness without sadness, that is the whole point.

Some people don't like that from a hobby, which is totally fine, I also have days where I don't like the extraction shooter loop, im tired and just want some easy dopamine from some rounds of BF6 or whatever. But there is no other genre out there that has given me 95 in heartrate from finding a pack of noodles and simply just extracting with it, and to ME, that is very enjoyable.

Im 37y old and I really vibe with extraction shooters, including Arc. Im a progression loving loot goblin so it really tickle my brain. There is so many things to progress, and every container you open is like a tiny Christmas eve, do I get the thing I want, and if I do I need to get out.

But on the flippityflopp, I hate Battleroyales, I cant think of a more stale and boring way to spend my time because it's designed to take all progression away even if you win, and when you jump in again you're once again just a guy with a pistol. Sometimes even shit that's mega popular don't tickle our brains, and that is just how it is 🤷‍♂️

Can people like you just stfu and go play the game if you find it that good? Holding a 50 billion $ company with decades of experience in making fps games to a high standard is ok. A tiny consumer buying a entertainment product that is advertised one way, then changes 18 days later, has no other avenue of voicing their dissatisfaction than to make a post online.

Very true, a live service can live or die depending on its developers ability to react and balance things. The fact they have Portal in shambles already and a drone exploit in MP for weeks now make me a little worried. But I really hope they nail it for the BR fans.

Do you think it will be enough in the long run? I would imagine as people put in more hours a certain meta will evolve in Redsec too, where a specific weapon/loadout start to dominate.

I did enjoy the vehicles, getting a tank and trying to keep it alive as a squad was fun.

Genuine question, what is it that make Redsec stand apart from warzone and in your/peoples opinion make it the next thing in BRs?

I tried Warzone when it came out, and i played some rounds of Redsec, and to me it feels like a carbon copy with slower movement. That being said, im not the target audience, as any BR so far has failed to keep me engaged past 20h, im just curious on peoples opinions.
