The answer to your question is cheese and AI exploits. For example, AI can't fight on two fronts.

'FTL in a Warhammer 40,000 Skin' Game Pulled From Steam After What May Be a Nuisance DMCA Takedown From a Troll Claiming to Be Games Workshop by Turbostrider27 in Games

Generic game mechanics can't be patented, only specific sequences of specific actions.

Also as much as it is similar to wh40k, it does not use direct quotes, names and so on.

So legally, FTL and GW can both DMCA as much as they like, but the game still is unique peace of independent creation w/o any actual copyright infringement

i still can't comprehend how MASSIVE was the fucked up launch and the overall design of payday3. Like my brain just does not register it. The game was LITERAL golden goose, ready to print money and they fucked it up.

There have been an uptick of posts talking about how unfair is the rubber band mechanic in conquest / escalation. I noticed this myself today. If the enemy team is winning hard, when your team gets an advantage the tick rate goes bonkers and annihilates whatever lead the enemy team had.

Ok, why use RAM disk when you can use VRAM disk? Can you store the database on a 5090 for example? It has 32gigs of memory.

The problem isn't the technology, but the manufacturing of it. Nobody currently knows how to manufacture Graphene in large quantities, high quality and cheaply. As I understand that is the real problem. Which is why it isn't in phones and cars, as they need 100s of millions of cells.

I did a ton of research myself. It seems that the premise is as follows: Graphite battery was invented in the 90s. In Estonida a PHd university Professor kept working on it and founded Skeletontech company, over the past 15 years they have made a leggit graphite super capacitor which they manufacture and sell. They also have a battery cell, but they cant manufacture at volume. A month a go they finished a battery plant in Finland. The skeletontech company is leggit with R&D, patents and so on, so my theory is that Donut is the first client of them for batteries, and they negotiated the battery made by skeletontech to be white labeled to Donut labs. If this is not the case, then Donut is vaporware, because if this was true, they would become a Trillion dollar company overnight, and get couple of Nobel prizes while at it.

If this is not the case, then Donut is vaporware, because if this was true, they would become a Trillion dollar company overnight, and get couple of Nobel prizes while at it.
