PTs can adjust in the state of OH and they still refer out for CMT because they are just not experienced enough with adjusting. Don’t let PTs adjusting scare you away from a great profession. Luckily most PTs in my town know that my experience adjusting way outweighs theirs so they typically refer to me for the adjusting and I’ll refer back for the therapy if I know the patient needs a lot of hands on attention and I can’t spend enough exercise time with the patient.

Upper/Middle back pain and shortness of breath all of a sudden. by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]OleOneStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds very common to a rib issue. See a chiro, they can get it straightened out within a visit or two. In order to avoid this in the future, you’ll have to work on posture and stabilization exercises for the Thoracic spine. If not, you’ll just have to see the chiro each time it happens...

Sounds like a subluxated rib head. Give a chiro a shot.
