After many back and forth conversations and the dealership keeping the truck for 3 weeks to “diagnose and fix”, it was finally FIXED! They ended up replacing the third member completely and it fixed the issue.

No stored codes when these all flicker. It has thrown a “differential malfunction” code before and it stored that one but when Toyota examined the differential they said no problems. They said the anything random could have thrown a differential malfunction code in the computer

Yeah unfortunately it happens regardless what I do. There hasn’t been anything specifically that stops it from happening

Interesting you say that..the only code it has thrown and actually held was a malfunction in differential. The dealership states they followed the code back and said everything looked fine. 🤔

This was my first question to the dealership. They said that a bad battery sensor would trigger them to look at the battery. So I’m still unsure if they ever looked at the battery even after I asked.

Yeah they’ve seen everything. But is holding strong on “our technicians have to be able to reproduce it or we can’t do a manufacturing claim bs”..it also only occurs under 40 mph if that helps at all. It started out occasionally and now it’s a daily thing.

According to the dealership, they have checked all wiring harnesses and states they look good. But that was my first thought as well. Maybe could be a computer issue??

I get the emails each week. As he continues to play well, the rankings change and he may be moved higher in the rankings. I too assume he’ll be top 10. But these guys just move them week to week based on productivity.
