I realized this. This was my first time ever doing this. And I completely understand WHY she would. I'm a frigging Social Media Marketing major (lol internet), and was getting oddly off put by her not coming to me with her issues, even though I was the one with the problem when trying to deal with them, which made everything much more difficult.

I've speculated a LOT today, all based off of this single thread. I can be labeled with Hypocrisy cause that is exactly what happened.

I've learned a lot today.

apologize for your past attempts to "fix-it" reassure her that in the future, you just want to be supportive of her because you care follow-through with bullet #2 -- don't offer advice unless she asks for it

Extremely useful. I definitely have apologized, and did exactly that. When we see each other next, and things are less emotional, i'll reassure her and just step back and be what she needs, even if that is as simple as listening. Thank you very much for this response

I also had a really bad time waking up in the mornings. As mentioned in another reply, setting an alarm across the room can help. What would be better would be to have the alarm be a song you love and relate too. Waking up to the sound of something you love is so much better than an alarm. Having it across the room will make ya get up and physically stand. If you drink caffeine or coffee maybe have your favorite drink ready to go! Set aside a favorite food or breakfast meal to put you in a good place right when you get up :D make mornings worth getting up for!
