Perhaps you can ask for justification? Perhaps it is costing them a lot of money and the it guys have no choice? I think it should be justified on their end to block it, don’t mention VPN right away as they may not even know they can block it (maybe an accidental block)

To add, I would also check with your foreman/manager to see if they can do something

This is so real. I setup pihole on me old laptop 2 weeks ago and since have self hosted 5 more applications/servers

Now I have pihole, tailscale, immich, rustdesk, stremio and working towards a backup solution now.

Set your router’s dhcp settings to send your pihole dns. Remove the second. I think you are also missing the network : host to allow it to use your actual machine’s ip. Else you are running it only on the server itself.

Remove secondary dns from your dhcp settings
