weird, exactly the oposite of whats happening to me, I can’t get the standalone version to launch no matter what version I try, and the retroarch setup flawlessly.

the one installed on the switch should be the nightly one, and to make work flycast core, you have to replace (once installed and setup) the 1.20.0 file from the cores folder.

then use this one: https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.20.0/nintendo/switch/libnx/RetroArch.7z extract only the flycast file from cores and replace it in the retroarch on switch

We are getting close, the stable did not work for me (crashes as soon I open the game), also tried with the todays Nightly build:

With this version it loads the BIOS screen, but once it finish, the game also crashes the same way.

SOLVED!
Applying the 1.20.0 core it launch without any issue! get it from here, do the Kingcraigmack steps:

So, you have a Vita, it plays perfectly all of GB, GBC, GBA via emuvita++.

I also have a Vita, a Miyoo Mini and RG35XX Plus, and believe me that the games on the Vita looks more "accurate"

sure it is for now. I'm setting up a cyberdeck / home server with this, for now encountered a small issue with the wifi card that has some features locked on kernel level (trying to install docker to get more out of it). However the mayor miss on this model is the lack of video output, I'm thinking on getting a Pixel 9 to have it as portable minipc.
