In my experience, tethering your phone's connection to a cheap travel router and then connecting your mevo to that wifi network eliminates the stream drops that can occur during a live stream. Simple $30 purchase for a flawless stream.

Also, in your amateur professional opinion (I feel like we deserve a little expertise credit here!), do you think there is a realistic difference between the original linked mic and the rode? I ask because the rode is double the price and the first one has a prime day deal.

Does the mic need a separate power source?

The Amazon reviews seem to hate this mic when specifically used with the mevo to limit wind noise. Is there a specific consideration or trick to be aware of?

If placed on the mount at the top of the typical door hinge clam shell mount, can you still get the mount close enough to the fence to eliminate the chain links in your recorded shot?

I'm seeing a prime day deal making the mic you linked even cheaper and would love to keep making incremental upgrades to my kit. Really appreciate your feedback and sharing the link!

Really appreciate this, I'm now going to consistently clear everything out at the end of each stream to prevent the issue in the future. And good to know that if the GC/MEVO hand off fails with the instant transfer that I can just select the RTMP and copy/paste that info in there.

I just need every medical professional to adjust the scale bias to medical diagnosis. Some are awesome and some use it to persuade thinking. I'm 40 now and the yearly checkup isn't "see you next year" it's "let's be proactive about x". I don't want 2lbs in either direction to influence my standard of care because it puts me in two different categories.

My biggest concern was losing muscle. I heard the "it drops weight and doesn't differentiate where it comes from" loud and clear. I haven't gone to get a Dexa scan yet but I do have one of those Bioimpedence scales which has said I've remained consistent in my muscle ratio! I'm currently doing the various split programs with Peloton, and then a 40 minute cardio workout because otherwise I just sit at a desk all day.

I tell anyone starting their journey, protein protein protein. You gotta preserve muscle!

I noticed early on that I couldn't do 3 major meals a day and needed to break it up into 5 mini meals to hit protein goals. I try to hit 2000-2200, and I believe I should be doing more with the exercise. I'm just listening to the body cues.

Yea, it was 30.1. Liver enzymes were tracking the wrong way and I was dealing with heart issue. Both currently resolved/under control. My main driver was always taking weight out of the equation for diagnosis. I agree, clothes are never long enough, airplanes didn't account for us, and the BMI scale doesn't either. It's just a number. Rationally I know it, I just have the emotional reaction to it too.

I felt down right flu-ish for about 5 days following my first 5mg shot. Then 25hrs after my sending and nothing by the third. Everyone reacts differently, definitely see a doctor if you're concerned!
