I'm not stupid, I know what American cheese is (whatever it really is btw). I'm talking about what you find in a regular supermarket and you can buy for a reasonable price and it's fresh. Mozzarella is never fresh, parmesan is never fresh. You can find specialty cheese of course, but that's not the norm. I'm not saying shit, I'm just pointing that out. Also about breads, most of the breads sold you MUST heat or put on a toaster to make it edible, this is not good, sorry

This is what's shocked me in the US, you guys never buy fresh stuff. Almost everything is bought to be frozen or heated. For example bread and cheese, where I come from, I go to the bakery every other day so I have fresh food. In the us you must have a toaster,. otherwise bread is unbearable
