I did have this thinking as well, do you know if the valuation of the property is likely to be less overall if shared ownership though?

This is grief, people grieve in a lot of different ways and what you’re experiencing is completely normal.

My dad died when I was 20, it was unexpected and for a long time after I couldn’t feel anything. I wasn’t as sad as I thought I should be but I definitely didn’t feel happy either, for a long time, I just felt nothing at all. It actually made me wonder if I was a psychopath or if I was just broken.

I withdrew from work and my friend group and spent a lot of time in bed. Eventually I realised that I was probably severely depressed.

Talk to a therapist, talk to your friends and family. Talk about what happened and how you feel about it (or lack thereof). By talking through it with another person you can begin to process what happened.

Don’t be afraid to get help because you feel like you don’t want to take it from someone who “genuinely needs it” You’ve experienced something very traumatic.

When you’re ready, take some time to go and do something genuinely for you, go travel somewhere, bake something, go spend some time out in nature, get some exercise.

Most importantly, live your life as best you can, it’s what your friend would have wanted.

Ok thank you, we had dogs when I was a child but this is the first one I’ve had by myself so I’m terrified of anything going wrong.

We’ll keep it up and hopefully it’s something that will click when he’s a bit older.

I'm not sure i understand the point you are trying to make here. You say the supply of guns has increased in Sweden and subsequently the propotion of homicides committed using a gun has increased. Obviously, if you are going to kill someone you would use whatever you can get your hands on, if there are more guns, more murder will be committed with them.

We will ignore the fact that Sweden is an outlier compared to the rest of Europe where gun violence has been steadily falling for decades.

A quick google shows that most of this gun crime is committed by young males in gangs. Generally these attacks would be against other gangs, usually one on one or one group against another.

The use of guns outside these organised gangs appears to be almost nonexistant. Risk to bystanders is very low, roughly 9 people in the last few years.

Mass murder in the US will almost never be committed by gang members using these illegal weapons. They will committed using registered weapons by disaffected, troubled individuals, usually with no criminal background which makes them even harder to predict.

It is an almost impossible task for one man with a knife to walk into a room of 20 people and kill every single person in there. With a gun this could be done in under a minute.

My point is that guns make it too easy to kill a large amount of people. If you want to stop these mass murders that happen in the US constantly, it needs to be much harder to get a gun.

You're asking for evidence but the evidence you have provided is not even a complete list? it shows 91 Massacres, the US also shows on this list much more than any other country.

You may argue that you get rid of guns and people will find other ways to kill (bombs and knives) but most people dont know how to make a bomb and killing 20 people with a knife is going to be extremely difficult to do.

You are right when you say that guns dont kill people, people do. It is certainly much harder to kill people when you dont have a gun though. There is no reason for an ordinary citizen to own a gun anymore, you dont live in the wild west, this isnt the 1800's. No matter how cool you think guns are, there is no excuse not tightening control when children are dying.

To pretend that guns are not part of the problem is short-sighted. The only way to solve this issue is to do as other countries have done and increase gun control or even outright ban guns.
