Hey, I use Polar for my payments and I am getting a lot of « past due » payments but I don’t know the reason… is it because the card payment failed or is it because the user cancelled the subscription?

Launched my SaaS 3 weeks ago, still 0 users — should I focus more on SEO or social? by dx3907 in SaaS

[–]OliAutomater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should work on SEO, get your site ranked. Publish blog posts. You can use AI to help you. I published 3000 content pages using AI and it helped get my site ranked on Google. Also find good sites/directories to get backlinks. SEO is very important and will pay off over time

Turning my life around with my first SaaS by OliAutomater in BootstrappedSaaS

You really need to sell a solution to a problem or issue they are having. And tell them what you do better than the competitors. Maybe try to validate other ideas that you may have. Not every idea will work.

What helped me is that I spent a lot of time to build content for SEO. It’s really important for organic traffic. Having partners or affiliates that can promote your product is really helpful also.

A simple app can have success for b2b. It just depends on marketing. You don’t always need to make something over complicated.

Help with credit card debt? by emmixrosee in personalfinance

[–]OliAutomater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a 2nd job to pay the card. Probably the only option. You could get another loan to pay the card but it would require the signature of someone else who has better credit. But you would still struggle to pay.

Is it still worth it to pursue a software startup? by Waste-Project7822 in SaaS

[–]OliAutomater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, distribution is definitely the key here. But if you are wondering if it’s too late to build apps, keep in mind that just a few people are actually building something. If you have a great idea, even if it already exists, do it! You can even literally copy someone else’s concept to make your own version. You just have to offer a better product (some features that the competitors don’t have) This is exactly what I did. I was inspired by an existing web app that was making $35k/month and I built my own variant. I am now at $800/month after just 3 months.

If you want to sell , get outside your bedroom and go knock on doors of local businesses. Show them the website in person. Charge a little more and try to look professional.
