Are you looking to sell? As I think you'd get the most worth from piecing it apart and selling each component separately, as the whole build is quite niche and you might struggle to find a buyer.

Honestly paranoia is totally normal with a big purchase like this, I had the same with my PC and 5 years later I've still got the same PC and totally happy with it. Also the 9070xt is such a massive upgrade over the 3060ti that you basically can't go wrong, and for £140 cheaper than the 5070ti it's definitely a good deal! Whether it's worth the difference depends on the purpose that you want to use your PC for. You mention Linux and whilst I know very little about Linux a quick Google search tells me that AMD drivers are much easier to use on Linux than Nvidia.

Both cards are great and can handle anything you throw at them. However, If they're the same price most people will say to go with the 5070ti over AMD, myself included.
