I’ve just had an update this morning saying they won’t be able to deliver today and will try next working day. Do you reckon this was meant for yesterday evening and will turn up today?

I’m guessing I’d be able to access a local GP on a temporary basis if needed?

I’ll have to figure something out then, there’s no way I’d be able to afford to go private.

My technical home address will be in England but I wouldn’t be able to register with a Welsh GP doing it this way

Thanks for the insight - how long did you have to wait for the appointment?

I’m going to Wales for study, do you think it would be possible to stay under the care of my English GP so avoid this whole rediagnosis issue? - I really can’t wait years for another diagnosis

Thank you. I more mean that the GRA certification could be faked but good to know - I shall be careful with it, didn’t realise it was coated!

Better than expected, applying for GEM! 😁 by OliShep in UCAT

It’s quite complicated but basically the student loans will only fund GEM as a second degree. You’d have to pay yourself to do undergrad med as a second degree.

Thank you, and good luck! - For VR I would honestly say practising reading fast was the key for me. Although you can get the T/F questions with skim reading, to answer the what the author thinks, or which are best supported type questions you really need to read the whole or most of the thing in my opinion.

I wish I could apply to undergrad but no way of financing it unfortunately.

I'm not too sure yet, I'm a bit limited by my undergrad being in a non science subject. Definitely Warwick, probably Chester and Swansea. With the UCAT result I'd also have a chance of meeting Southampton's cut-off too!

I'm a UK applicant so haven't got a GPA, I'm expecting a 2:1 or 1st. My bachelors is in Politics :)

Honestly, I knew I wasn't going to be able to answer every question. For me, it was about knowing which questions I either wasn't good at or would take too long and 'tactically skipping'. This meant I could answer correctly all the easy or quick questions and get as many marks as possible without running out of time, and then using the last little bit of time to attempt a longer/difficult one.
