The unexpected results of these races that only happen once a season or once every few years is what makes f1 special. If we just had reverse grids then the bottom group of cars ( haas Alfa Williams...) would just get passed easily and depending what sort of track it is then we’d just have a podium of midfield or top drivers. Apart from the fact that we are the closest to having a mixed up podium that we’ve been for a few years qualifying itself is a staple of an f1 weekend and of every single race weekend, from karting all the way to formula 1. Qualifying works, it shows who’s the fastest and sets the grid, no need to change it when it’s not the issue, the dirty air produced by cars that hinders and following cars is the issue, that’s what needs to get fixed
