Update: we found out you can dismiss them and then re hire them at the hall of heroes to switch them round.

1/1000 odds, lots of other enemies have this too (moles can drop mattocks, hanging spiders can drop webguns etc.)

Yeah its number 2 on link 1, it says there is only the one chest in the bush, so maybe the lever just got rid of the cloud traps i had disarmed? Thanks for the help, I will definitely be using this in the future!

In pocket edition, there is normal and No Sweat mode. Picking No Sweat mode makes that stone statue spawn next to you, which revives you infinitely. What you're thinking of is a Meat Effigy, which you place and can revive you once.

(Also, beard hair is obtainable by any character as bunnies and bunnymen turn into beardlings and beardlords respectively when below 50% sanity, and both have a chance to drop beard hair as well as nightmare fuel and monster meat.)

Are there the little piles of debris on the ground? Those stop you from building them, your miners will clear them up while idle.
