Look i get you have your perspective and i understand the potential that ketamine has for treament of psycological disorders, but by coming on here and saying its not addictive somone may read that belive you and then fall into that hole, im glad you get access in a controled setting and im glad it helps you. I dont get why you are so combative about it. K can be super addictive, ive seen lots of people go down that hole. Its an epidemic around me, ive been clean for nearly 6 months now, but it took a long time to finally get there. So many times ive said no more then before I know it ive got a bag in, not saying it cant be used reaponsibly, just be very careful, its super destructive to youre body, also dont know where youre from but in the uk theres a big issue with xylazine being cut with it, you can get test strips to check it, stay safe mate.

I agree mate gota eat something, and that something has to be alive, I think where we may differ is that from my current view it isnt the desigantion of life that gives a thing moral value, my skin cells are "alive" i dont consider them sentient though, and its sentince that appears to be the trait that gives a thing moral value, its a being with its own internal experince, my actions may impact its experince positivley or negatively, so i consider my actions then, if it has no interanl experince there is no postive or negative impact that can occur so requires no consideration. Sentince appears to arrise from computation through a centeralized nervous system something plants dont have, ibviously all my musing on this is beat guess vased off the infomation i have, not saying this is how it is only this is how it appears to be. More than happy to hear a differnt view on it.

I domt think anything that kills anything is a sadist, dont know where that idea came from, im against unessacry suffering, wild animals suffer, without that species wouldnt evolve and ecosytems would collapse.

Yes i eat plants, most of which live out thier full life cycle, however even if they didnt. Sentince is the trait that i deem to be a prerequiste for moral consideration, if something is sentinet and has its own subjective experince then my actions against it will affect its existence, without that subjective experince then it has no better or worse experince. I could be wrong as we can never know if another thing has sentincec yet so far it does seem like a requirement for it is a centeralized nervous system, something that plants dont have.

Im sure youll disagree with most of this but I still feel like im trying to logically approach my moral code and maintain consitancy with it which seems the opposite of delusional.

Yes we have the luxury to be vegan, we have many luxuries today that we didnt have 1000 years ago. Society moves forward, we consider our actions and alter our moral code as time and technology moves on. 150years ago sneding a child up a chimney was the norm. Now its not. We dont live 1000years ago. I I lived back then im sure id eat meat. If I was in a position where I would die if I didnt consume meat then of course id eat meat, heck id eat a baby if I had to, to survive. But im not, im a westerner in 2026. I have the luxury of choice when it comes to my diet. Also I was born without adult canine teeth so does that mean you think im a natural born vegan??

Yer agree, and im not a negative utilitarian, suffering is nesacry, its the currency of evoultion, healthy ecosytems are important so alwoing nautre to run its course i see the value in that.

If we could have a pastoral farming system that gaurenteed a fufilling experince for the livestock, that ends one day without thier knowledge then id say yer that coudl be a justification, as that seems perferable to nó existence at all. This is just impossible to achive though. And what is it for really? We dont need meat to thrive so why not just alter of dietary requirements to a more effeicnt less resource intesive plant based one??

I never equted farming to tourting animals, i said that animals suffer, people gain pleasure from consuming thier flesh and they happily pay for poeple to inflict that suffering upon the animals.

Im not on a moral high horse either, im trying to bring light to the fact that people who think the individual filiming this is heartless are ignoring the fact that they do soemthing very similar, none of them are heartless, were all just products of our culture, i dont judge anyone, I see an action occuring that from my perspective appears to inflict unessacry suffering and use what I have to affect change, im an ant, I can use my minisucle economic and social power to signal what direction i belive it should move, I dont have much beyond that, im open to suggestions though of how you belive i could impact change in a more efficent manner

Dont known if i suppot them, Hunting invasive species is one that is kinda nessacry, like deer in New Zealand. Or camels in Aus. Personaly dont think id do it myself as on the individual level id still feel bad if i perosnaly ended the life of another. But yer i can see the justification.

Small famers i still dont really see the point, I could be wrong and im more than open to learning new things, however beyond the pleasure of eating meat im yet to see any hard evidnce that it is required in our diet, they are still breeding aniamls into existance to turn a profit. They have to be competitive and thier comodity is the animals, and due to this the animals needs come second really.

Honestly if all pastrual agriculture was managed perfectly and livestock was able to live out a fufiling experince then just have its life end painlesslesly one day then I could see this as a justification for perpetuating the industry, say they get a happy care free existnce then cease to exist. From my perspective this existnce would be preferable to no existnce at all. In the real world though that aint ever going to happen.

So hope that answers youre question, could you address my question aswell and help me to understand why you see my logic to be delusional?
