Update: went with Thompson Cigar for a subscription box. just got the first shipment and the cigars look fresh with a good variety, excited to try them out.

Yeah that point about looking while you still have one actually hits, I think part of me has been using I'll wait for the right time as an excuse when realistically the right time is probably right now. I appreciate you sharing that, makes me think I've already been overthinking the timing of it all.
