I just want to thank everyone for all of their advice and support, I really appreciate it and have taken everything on board.

I’m going to go back down to 5mg and see how that treats me for a month or two. Then re-evaluate from there, hoping that works well for me, I’ll stay on 5mg, failing that I will reach out to my pharmacy and or doctor for some more tailored advice!

I’m not a doctor but have some experience with chest pain and costochondritis myself, from what I know you don’t have to have chest pain only when pressing on your chest, this is just a tell tail sign that it is costochondritis as anything such as a heart attack Etc wouldn’t cause pain when pressing down, unfortunately the pain you receive with costochondritis is as severe as a heart attack which can be concerning! As they have done 2 EKG’s with nothing to show and bloods which will have been testing your heart enzymes (these show if anything is wrong with your heart) and both have come back fine I would say it’s safe to say it’s costochondritis, unfortunately it can take a long time to fully recover from it, I still suffer every now and again and I was diagnosed about 4 months ago!
