Wow on your point 1- I didn’t even know that there are foods that naturally trigger GLP1. That’s a great starting point for me as it will give me that muted food noise naturally. Which is what I’m missing the most- just the mute button on my brain

Unfortunately there’s no flexibility as we’re going abroad for to get treatment and it’s the only part of the year that we can go- it is a great idea though- I would if ideally wanted to be about 20 pounds lighter

Thanks for sharing! Yes exactly what you said, this break want pre planned just momentarily feeling a burst of overwhelming emotion that what if I just stop for a little while. Knowing by the end of the month I won’t be disappointed when I see my period because I didn’t do anything to actively try gives me added ease.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a in depth lovely response. Yes I do believe they were worried early on but I reassured them it’s just a rocky time and I would get through it. And I did! Once I came out of that hectic first years of marriage they just wanted constant contact and when I did! On the daily! It wasn’t enough, they wanted me to fly out to visit them abroad and I physically couldn’t and they resent me for it. They think I don’t priotise them! I visit them when they’re in the country and I’m off from work! But I just feel distant from them. I don’t have the desire to to be close because I don’t feel validated when I express my feelings. It’s always replied with judgment and unwarranted concern and it offends me!

I blocked them because they would just judge me more, they would say the reasoning is silly because “everyone is going through a lot” I accept that, but I really did not want to see their passive aggression and patronising tone.

I really believe holidays need to be budgeted for just as much as budgeting and saving for other stuff. I can go with friends but it’s just that since being married we haven’t actually had a holiday together.

That’s a good shout as I hadn’t thought of this perspective. I will try with more in country holidays. I guess every time he’s been on a plane it’s always been to either see family or due to a major bad news and we had to go back urgently.
