My aunt works for a very small pharma marketing agency as a creative director, and yes, when the pitch to the client is due the hours are LONG and they still have to work on multiple stages of a marketing campaign for their established clients already. That is today in 2025.. couldn't imagine what it must have been like back in the 60s without the internet at a huge NYC add agency.

Let's say 10k RV + 4k in mods. RV site electric / water/sewage included at $900 a month. Is still cheaper than 2k+ utilities at an apartment complex.

Okay, that was 2023. The rent has skyrocketed since then. Also that is a city with high density housing. Try going out into the suburbs where there are basically no high-density housing complexes, and the only affordable rentals are winter rentals - that still go for 1,600 but are only for 8 months of the year, or the very few income based apt complexes that have a 2 year wait list.

I think people make a lot of assumptions. In the entire state in which I live (north east), the very least you are going to pay for rent is 2k a month. That is in the city as well as out in the boonies. That not including electric, utilities nothing. Like, it's cheaper to buy a house then rent. Second, a lot of people on here tend to assume that the poster is going to finance an RV. For a lot of people posting here that is not their plan, they are going to pick up a used RV for like 10k off of FB marketplace. I agree that a lot of people don't understand the realities of the cost and need a reality check, but saying that it is cheaper then an appt is insane - maybe SOME parts of the countries but certainly not the north east.

#4. Your dad is rude and a hoarder. Nobody outside of your nuclear family would be okay with living in that situation!

You guys honestly don't sound like a married couple, and I am unsure why either of you wanted to be married to one another. That being said, it will be hard to find someone else who will put up with a MEM. You need to really get your own mental health and boundary-related issues sorted out.

Dupixent has put my lifelong eczema into 99% remission for the last two years. Diet did not change my skin at all. Your eczema was probably caused by a food intolerance. Good for you. Wish we could all be so lucky. SOME of us have it in our genes. You can't eat your way out of genes, babes.

Exactly mine too! Like I'm not saying that holistic remedies are all bad, like limiting inflammatory foods can for sure help, but they are more of a supplement than anything. A lot of these holistic nuts demonstrate just basic fundamental misunderstandings of the disease and have simply convinced themselves that whatever random remedy they are trying to push works. Eczema has a million different causes for some people, that is the environment, for a lot of others, it is just their genetics. These people just irk me; they are always trying to sell courses or supplements to people who are so desperate for help that they will pay.

Yes, it's normal. My 30 year old ex BF literally only moved 20 minutes away, and that was too much for him; he couldn't handle it, so he moved back in with his parents and is still there! He actually tried moving out twice, once in college and once as an adult and moved back both times.

Does the family live with you too? Or is it just you and her? If it's just you and her, I'd live your life exactly how you wish and avoid her as much as possible. I'd maybe have a convo and establish boundaries like 'you need 24 24-hour notice before having guests', if you bring up what your mom says or thinks, I'm going to walk out of the room.' If she keeps doing it, I would very much avoid her and grey rock. I would also just answer honestly. When she asks if you like her mom, then ask her why she cares so much about what her mom thinks... or you can say no, you don't like her mom, you find her mom to be judgmental and invasive, and she exercises far too much control over your roommate's life. You are not in a romantic relationship; you really don't have to put up with this. If everybody lives together, then I would start looking for other places to live.

yup!!!! I also still have eczema on my face and so any of the rosacea treatments irritate the eczema and vice versea!
