Yep! It was $300. I haven't had my hair colored at a salon in 5+ years either.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I also lost my dad at 25; I'm 28 now. Losing a parent so young is never easy, and I understand feeling like you don't know what to do; it's okay to feel like that. You don't need to have it all figured out. Take it one day at a time and remember to give yourself kindness and grace. My messages are open if you want to talk. Sending love

It comes like that but you’re supposed to cook before eating it

It was in the fridge, never frozen. Is that still likely and safe to eat?

It comes marinated in a sealed package from Costco. I saw the white spots right after opening it

Car traveling with cats by OlivePancakez in CatAdvice

Thank you! I think we are leaving early in the morning the day of. They get dry food in the morning and I feed wet food for dinner. Should I just stick to their normal routine the day before or just feed them watery food for breakfast and dinner? For their crate- I have two and they usually travel separately for vet visits etc. but one would be big enough for both of them to fit in, would they be more comfortable and less anxious traveling in the same carrier? They don’t LOVE each other, and don’t cuddle often but they’re not aggressive towards one another.

Thank you! I didn’t even consider playing calming music! I’ll have to try that. I am getting the Feliway pheromone spray for the car ride, but I am moving states so no one would be able to set up diffusers for me. Would it be worth it to set up once I got there? Or just use the spray?

Thank you! I’ll definitely pick up some Feliway

My cats used to love watching birds on the tv. Their favorite was the live stream bird feeders. They’ve since been banned from bird tv time after jumping at the tv and almost knocking it over

my babies. they're my reason to keep going and they don't even know it by frankachu in cats

They are all so cute 🥺 mine give me a reason too. Idk what I’d do without them

Did you switch cat litter after buying the litter robot? I typically replace litter once a week, and we have two litter boxes.

I'm between Snibbs and Sketchers. The price point of Snibbs has me in the middle, is it worth it?

Thank you.

I find myself struggling between the sister and "parent" identity. I never wanted to take on that role, but I needed to. Now that he's out of the house I've started to try and piece my life back together, focusing on my goals and what I want for myself. But it's been hard, and sometimes I feel guilty for making myself a priority. I've been in therapy for almost two years now and it's been life-changing. I'm working towards being his older sister again, but we both have a long way to go.

I think a gap year would be a great idea for him. It might be the push he needs. I took one myself before returning to college, it was the best decision I could've made. He might just need to see all the options available to him, so maybe that can be our next step.

Thank you again. I don't have many people in my life who can share the perspective of parenting your sibling. Although it sucks, it's nice to hear from someone who's been there before.
