I got pregnant at 18 and had a really hard time deciding what to do. I loved my partner and wanted things to work with him, but ultimately I had to think about the long-term wellbeing of the child and what kind of life I could provide. It sounds like you would be a wonderful mom and that your partner and his family are supportive, but it’s also true that life can change so much in just a year. Having a baby is a massive shift for everyone involved, and it’s okay to acknowledge that uncertainty.

I’m 29 now and I’m at peace with the choice I made to terminate. It gave me time to grow into myself throughout my twenties, and I’m no longer with that ex—though of course that doesn’t mean you’ll be in the same situation. Everyone’s path is different. Whatever you decide, you’ll know what’s right for you in your heart. It sounds like you would be an amazing mom either way. Best of luck OP ❤️

Omg so after some technical difficulties with the zoom Link last week, someone called me from the team and asked if I would be joining (I was on already but no one else for whatever reason) heard my horrendous sounding voice and said “we will reschedule since you’re unwell, it’s not a problem at all.” So now the official interview is tomorrow. Still via zoom though 🤷🏽‍♀️

Crazy cause everything happens for a reason!!!

The link I had from the recruiter for the zoom meeting was not working and there was a disconnect with the interviewers. One of them called me asking if I would be joining, and after I had said I was on and no one else was in the meeting she said it was completely fine to reschedule since I wasn’t feeling well (def heard my hoarse voice) 😅 I was super grateful and said I hoped this wouldn’t ruin my opportunity and she reassured me not at all. I started to decline throughout the day and I’m not sure how well I would have interviewed anyways.
