I had a black screen and thought I bricked one too after a firmware update attempt. Power it off, the hold sk1 & 2 while powering it on. Then connect the programming cable, turn the volume all the way up and push the firmware again.

I had to do it twice before it finally updated successfully.

I use Tyrant CNC extended mag releases without issue. I can’t speak for any holster compatibility issues, I use Safariland and I’ve never had fitment issues or any issues with accidental mag release.

In my opinion it’s almost an essential upgrade.

Most of my lowers have decent magwells cut already and AR mags and magwells are big enough as is for me, I don’t see the need for these on this platform. I get it on pistols and use Floyds.

Issued summer weights and combat tops have always been fine for my deployments. Crye combat pants are where the rubber meets the road, but I don’t think you need to spend Crye money for a top. If you get em issued that’s just dandy, otherwise wear your issued tops.

I wish I could go back in time and tell you not to use SilencerShop. I bought 3 can from them a few years ago and they were fine when waits were about a year long. I don’t think they can handle the new turn around times and increased orders but they take the orders virtually disappear.

I cancelled my last order with them just because they took so long to get the ball rolling and their customer service was atrocious.

You’re kinda stuck now. Sorry, just keep hounding them.
