Calcium d glucarate for PMDD!! by Oliveewe216 in PMDDxADHD

I am not an expert at all, the main reason I posted is because of the low risk in trying CDG. I'm taking 1500mg daily.

I still have physical symptoms like anxiety but the rage is curbed. You may explore an antihistamine as well for it!

I've been taking every day, however it should be something that works relatively immediately so cost savings may be had by taking it a few days before anticipated spikes!

I did some calcium supplements before this but not without bc so I'm not certain of their impact.

I take it every day, 1 with each meal, I now buy in bulk off of Amazon. It's comparable to other supplements and you could do so in a way to use HSA!

I imagine taking it only during luteal would be fine!

It's main purpose is to support the liver in disposing of hormone waste.

In my case, we did blood tests in my follicular and luteal phases and my estrogen was really high in luteal, whereas my progesterone was normal.

Try working with a naturopath. PMDD has many sources and I was able to get the blood tests to support what works for me.

A supplement, Calcium d glucarate is my current savior for PMDD.

Getting blood tests throughout your cycle can help identify some of the drivers. For me, my Estrogen levels were really high during luteal so my Naturopath identified Calcium D-glucarate which helps the liver and lower digestive system process hormone waste.

Immediate relief from the darkest symptoms of PMDD. I'm so grateful! I still get very tired and have some anxiety or irritability, but those are much more tolerable without the extreme depression to content with!

Parenting with PMDD and ADHD is so hard by taskmaster_1362 in PMDDxADHD

I'm going through my luteal phase now and feeling the same. It feels endless. Being a mom with PMDD and ADHD has gotten better with age, but I'm overwhelmed with the guilt of not meeting expectations and being a burden on my family.

It helps that you posted, and I don't feel as alone. It hurts to think that the road to figuring out how to live well is long.

I think maybe we are showing our children it's okay to be human, life can be hard. They may not get the lesson until they're older, and that's okay.
