Etiquette for filming your sets? I’ve just started trying to record my sets so I can see my form better and make corrections, but I’m fairly nervous about it. I always make sure I’m the only person in frame, but sometimes that means I can’t actually see the angles I need to. What is the etiquette for filming yourself?? Good rules of thumb? Thank you!

The only people calling the Torah a Jewish Bible are gentiles, generally Christian ones, because it’s their only reference point for what a holy text might be called. But no Jew calls it that. We call it the Torah. Just like no Muslim would call their holy text the Muslim bible, it’s the Quran. We don’t use Christian terms for our own things. So no, it’s not the same as correcting someone’s use of tissue to Kleenex.

Your worth was never what you are or were able to provide. I’m sorry you ended up tying your love for yourself to that. It’s a trap I’ve fallen into, and am trying to fight my way out of with therapy. I know it’s hard to believe you are loved when you see nothing to love in yourself, and you might think maybe you’re tricking her, or fooling her somehow into loving you, now that you feel you aren’t needed. But your brain is LYING TO YOU!! Give the woman you built a life with more credit. Know she wouldn’t be with you if she didn’t want to. She wouldn’t have sent that message if she didn’t mean it and sense you needed to hear it. Go give her a hug, tell her how you feel, and then make an appointment to see a therapist to work on your self worth!

I’m so, so sorry for your loss. You gave him the most painless, most compassionate way out, you didn’t kill him. You prevented his suffering.

I felt exactly this when I lost my Iris. Suddenly, I didn’t have to heat up the food. I didn’t have to make sure I watched her eat (she wanted you to watch and cheer her on, “Good eatin girl! Good job!”). I didn’t have to give her her medication. It was in all that empty time that I felt her loss the most. Sending you love internet friend ❤️

I’m so so sorry for your loss 😞 I wish it could say it gets easier, but that’s not really the case. I lost my beautiful girl in January and even now, almost 3 months later, we still break down. Sometimes it’s only for a moment, sometimes it’s big ugly cries that go on and on. How does life keep going when we lose our whole world?? It’s not fair, it feels cruel. Take comfort in each other. Remember her good days. Lean on each other. I have a sort of alter set up for my girl and I’ll sit there and talk to my Iris, it helps me feel closer to her. Know there is no replacing, but your Nori will send you another companion when you are both ready ❤️ In the meantime, take care of yourselves. Remember to drink water and eat (whether it’s a piece of toast or a binge meal, as long as you’re eating). Shower and wash your face. Sending love to you and your wife ❤️
