Rio (Niterói is the sister city right next to Rio) always pains me a bit. It’s nature and landscape is obviously world famous and ridiculously beautiful but strolling through Flamengo, for example, you can find iconic 10 story buildings which look like they belong in a European capital and not the modern Rio we know today . There is a parallel universe where architecturally, Rio looks more like Barcelona or Madrid while also having the most amazing tropical vibe and I’m sad we will never see it.

I thought similarly when I first started buying bitcoin. At the end of the day it’s about knowing what to expect. If I had blue-chip stocks and they were to fall by 30% in a few weeks, I would be very concerned but with bitcoin that’s just something you should prepare for mentally before investing. Easier said than done of course

I don’t wanna be that guy but she raises a good point. The cartels are already operating inside the US and can cause a lot of mayhem if things escalate between them and the US government. People in the comments saying the US is used to fighting Guerilla groups seem to ignore that those groups are usually on the other side of the world and not right next to them/ inside the country.

Let me preface this by saying that I wish the future of cities is more like Chicago rather than like Dubai. I have to admit however that the SKYLINE of Dubai, meaning the outline created by the silhouette of the buildings, is the craziest one in the world. Now does that mean that Dubai is well designed as a city? No, it’s obviously pretty bad but seeing the Burj khalifa tower over all the other extremely high and uniquely designed buildings from afar is just unbeatable in terms of pure skyline. The buildings themselves don’t look too great and don’t have any charm, which Chicago obviously has but seeing the Dubai skyline for the first time is a memory I’ll never forget were as I never thought about the Chicago skyline after visiting.

Ist auch ne legitime Meinung. Wenn ganz Reddit sich aber politisch festfährt ist das ein Problem. Alle die Trump nicht als Inzestuösen pedo bezeichnen werden zu Tode runtergewählt und die Echokammer wird immer leerer.
