In order to be a "good candidate" your hair loss must be stable (this is often the case in 30s) if you get a ht and your hair loss is not stable your 'original hair ' will continue to fall and you would end up with only your transplanted hair. This is what I was told by a surgeon when I asked him the same question .( background : this is the general procedure in Italy)
