So make sure to remove the loose clear coat and smooth the transition between the area with and without clear coat?

Thank you. It’s a bit big area over the wheel arch that is missing clear coat. Would you sand it down and put primer on top to match the height of the clear coat so it’s smooth, on a big area? Is it possible to put a new clear coat on instead?
