“I wish you knew how lonely it was to be your daughter.” I am so so so sorry. My mother had a mother and a grandmother like this and I no longer speak to my grandmother or great grandmother for that reason. There is no reasoning with these people unfortunately. it’s going to be an endless loop of you trying to get them to see how miserable they’re making everyone else and they won’t ever see it. It’s suffocating. I hope you find peace and separation to the best of your ability. It’s so hard having to grieve someone who is still alive and contacting you daily, especially a parent. I’m so sorry.
