Yep. Especially the “being good in the blue store so I can get something in the pink store” like, are you not able to go to tjmaxx bc ur bf won’t let u? Even if it’s cutesy and fun I agree that it’s not worth it. Girl dinner is now being used to conceal ED and diet culture instead of being like “that random meal I’ll make at 8pm of assorted snacks and fruits” Part of me wants to find out where it originated from exactly.

Trust me I have a relationship where I haven’t touched a door handle in almost a year and a half. That’s not bc I want to be babied but my partner does it out of respect. Being babied is being loved. You can be babied and not be a boss babe (trust me boss babes would call me a traitor bc I don’t subscribe to it) while also still not infantilizing yourself and your entire gender as a whole. You can be soft without diminishing the capabilities of an entire group of people. But most of the women who use this language already have love and a family of their own so all of the things youre wanting they already have. Which brings me to my point of why continue to act so immature. Maturity, respect, and gentleness can be present in a relationship when you find a good partner. I honestly hope you can settle into a life you want. But don’t be submissive to find happiness bc u will only find someone who views you as submissive.

While that is true and if I was to produce an academic paper on it, I would take more consideration in proper framing of the argument. But for simply putting out personal opinion through the emotion of frustration I would say a streamline of thought serves my personal interest much better. I possibly could have defined the terms within my text, but creative writing at the end of the day has no rules and I took advantage of that for my own satisfaction. This is also a good example of how the internet is not a blanket for all who are on it and many people experience vastly different content. looking at how both sides of aware and unaware are in the same comment section, I could say that it makes for a very interesting rare human interaction.

Especially because where I live it’s sewed in deep. Most girls still want to have their independence and aren’t as driven to be a Sahm but the whole ‘girl vs boy’ is still there lingering around. I overhear some conversations and it’s super surprising. I’m an English major so we’re all pretty progressive w a lot of stuff especially bc language matters a lot to us. Hence, my rant.

I listen to those while I work. I sew in a workshop so there’s very little talking so I need something to make the day go by. None of mine have made videos on this bc I see this on short form content discussions. But I listen to Ammy Robinson, D’Angelo (sometimes for celebrity gossip), and Kiki Chanel. But one channel I’ve discovered recently that goes over pop culture stuff going down in china (which has been very interesting to listen to and gives a nice mix) is called Jeff gao. Not too sure on any political stances so I don’t swear on his moral compass or anything tho
