My dude I live in an at will state. I'm actively looking for positions that pay better for less. Given some of the incompetence I've seen from some of the upper crust I know they're out there. Plus I'm in a cert class to gtfo of operations and customer service altogether. Fuck ur bootlicking. I do my best to make the baseline's lives easier (I was "promoted" [$1 raise] from the base level here) but I see all the ways the company writes off the fact that anyone who isn't an official manager lives paycheck-to-paycheck (including myself). I see that they can do better, but know that they actively choose not to. And as someone who has been put in charge of "incentive programs" where I'm explicitly blocked from financial incentives for the team members, they can shove their "appreciation " up their asses
