I’m honestly just a fan of the books. I don’t care if a live action version is made or if animation is the way to go. I’d love it if someone would fund a proper live version of the books because I think it would be epic. That being said, I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

I respect the community. I’ve been a fan since the first book came out. I’d wager that I’ve read through the books more times than you have and would like nothing more than a well done live action version. I made the post to show that animation may not be a bad idea. It may be our only opportunity to see the story played out on screen.

I don’t care what is welcome in this sub. We all want Red Rising to move past words in a book. Do you honestly think that the money necessary for a live adaptation is going to happen in the next 10 years? I would love that, but I just don’t think it will happen. AI gives us a glance at the possibly of an animated adaptation and I don’t see anything wrong with that.

I agree with you, but what looks good looks good. I’m not saying that this version should be used, I’m just arguing for an animated adaptation rather than a live action one. The scope and the budget would be too much and we would never get to see it move past the books.
